Upon launching the new snapshots from 18w07a and up the game will load fine, but as soon as the window is brought into focus the game freezes and doesn't come out of it, even after letting it run for a half hour. The crash report simply labels it an "unexpected error" with absolutely no indication of what the problem is. Is it just me having this issue and if so what's causing it?

It doesn't generate a crash report, even when holding f3 + c for 10 seconds like instructed to in other bug reports. I'm not sure what I'm expected to do when it just freezes. All I'm getting is the menu screen telling me an unexpected error occured. I'm running 1.12.2 with optifine with absolutely no trouble, I'm allocating 5 gigs worth of memory to the game so that can't be it either. What else can I do to force a crash report out?
