In the launcher I press the play button and it crashes before I even get the chance to play

In the .minecraft folder, open the crash-report folder and upload the corresponding one.

I checked it and it does not have any recent crashed reports. It says it crashed but there is no crash report for it

@unknown Hold F3 + C for 10 seconds to force a crash.

What happens is I press play from the launcher to launch the game, and then I am brought back to the laucher automaticlly and it says I crashed. And it only does this for the Aquatic snapshots.
