Thank you for your report!
However, this issue is a Duplicate of MC-124123.

It has been linked to this report. If you have additional information, please add it to that report.

The issue is caused not specifically by the cave spider, but rather that it is CaveSpider with capitals, instead of the new ID cave_spider in lower case.

As far as I can tell, it looks like this is a fairly old world (not newly generated)? That might explain why the old ID is present (though of course the game should be converting them). In the mean time I might recommend using a new world if you want to look at the generation.

Oh, i see, that makes sense! But from what you said, i want to note that this happened in a newly generated part of the world, both on land and in the ocean, at least i thought so while writing this.. Now I'm not sure, is there a way to manually convert old worlds to new format, er what it is?

I don't think there is a way to manually convert it; the way that it works now is that chunks are "upgraded" on load instead of converting the entire world on open (which would take a while).

Are you sure it's new chunks? The old entity IDs were last used in 1.10.2; 1.11.0 had already changed it. It might make sense to me if this happened if you loaded some chunks that were last present in 1.10.2; if it's actually brand new chunks that would be very weird...

Just found out something I missed. The issue isn't for an entity with the wrong ID, but rather for a monster spawner with the wrong entity ID.
