After force updating, my 2011 cape is gone. as I don't know how the cape is saved, ill give a crash report just in case even if its useless, but its still simply gone. I hope it can be restored, or prevented from others. mods are not used by me. my computer cant handle them. I would like my cape back, as it cant be regained by myself. please help, I loved it. [and yes, it was a boasting tool] I noticed it was gone after an attempted screenshot in 3rd person view. on multiplayer, and singleplayer ,its missing, and others cannot see it.

, and capes is always enabled, as I can see a friends cape with ease, and he had the same cape.

Resolving this ticket as invalid since no bug.
What happens if you view the URLs http://skins.minecraft.net/MinecraftSkins/<YourUserName>.png and http://skins.minecraft.net/MinecraftCloaks/<YourUserName>.png ?
Since both files come from the same server the cape should be visible, if your skin is visible.
Otherwise, the cape is not shown, if you are invisible or if you've switched it off in the options.
