My 1.12.2 minecraft had no issues 31 Apr, 2018. on 1 Apr, 2018, a bug with the textures seems to has developed for no reason. Attached are pictures to detail the bug. I have tried uninstalling EVERYTHING minecraft related, video card drivers, java, and downloaded a fresh 1.12.2 minecraft instance. I also tried to install minecraft 1.12.2 on a computer with no prior minecraft installation to no avail. I believe its something wrong with the 1.12.2 download going out from mojang.
Additional information: I inspected the textures themselves inside of the jar file and they all appear to be correct. I especially focused on the grass, sand, and widget textures and compared them to the images below.
