April fools! This is an April Fools' joke by Mojang. Textures will return back to normal once April Fools' Day is over. Read more about it here.
I was playing Minecraft earlier and everything was normal. I then quit it and later started it up, it then reinstalled 1.12.2 and when it started all the textures were saturated. I have tried deleting the versions file, and even the resources file, but it still looks the same. When I play in the other versions, the world looks normal.

strange... I found an old copy of the default texture pack (I do not know which version it was) on my device, and it seemed to fix it...
This was a Terrible joke... Caused my friend to reinstall graphics drivers, the game several time, he thought graphics system was corrupt somewhere...
Make April fools jokes fun in future. At least put some notice up that can be seen on the linus launcher.
This joke was kind of not funny. I wasted 4 hours and 52 minutes looking at the clock now trying numerous things to fix this. Not super happy =(.... 5 hours of my weekend wasted.. x.x
