Had to restart the game due to the lag that gets worse the longer the game runs. Upon restart it downloaded a patch and now the textures are messed up. The kicker is that I see notifications in the launcher and the splash screen claiming "fixed textures" or some nonsense.

So I reverted to the older version. Is that the resolution? Why push something that screws everything up? Will this bad patch be scrapped. I just don't understand
