Buffet worlds: If you spawn in an End-style generated world, odds are you will fall into the void soon as you load.

Seems that if the spawn area is in the middle of nowhere, you just spawn right at y=0. Two possible fixes are to make it move you to the nearest land, or to place an island under you like the actual End. Or, if you're willing to help players a little, an island with lava and water set up like a cobble generator?
