Going through nether portal in end puts player in limbo

1. Go to end (e.g. /setblock ~ ~ ~ end_portal)
2. Place nether portal and go through (e.g. /setblock ~ ~ ~ portal)

Result: You can walk around and collide with blocks, also the biome appears in F3, but you can't see the blocks. It's like when chunks don't fully load because of lag, but everywhere.

Similar to MC-7169, but in current versions and the world does open, it's just invisible.

Can't reproduce personally, it just puts me in the nether

Hm, interesting, I just tried to reproduce it on my Linux laptop and was also unable. It probably depends on something. I'll test on my Windows PC in two days.

I also can't reproduce it. Maybe it's a combination of me remembering something like this from 1.7 times, spawning in a block, MC-124126 and being partially in multiple blocks, which allowed me to walk a bit. So I probably thought it was still the same.

Or maybe it still exists, but is harder to reproduce. I don't know. This can be closed until I find out.

No but it will do the "Phantom Nether" glitch.

Here is a video about it (I did not make this video): https://youtu.be/mV6RGEdvwWU

It looks a bit like the ghost mode that can be seen in many Myren Eario videos, but applied to every entity.
Thanks for the video, it adds a lot of valuable info!

Does someone have a way to reproduce it? According to my own comments, it seemed to have worked on my desktop PC, but not on my Linux laptop. I can't reproduce it on Linux in 1.14-pre1.
