So when I shift and double click it suppose to put all same items in chest from inventory , but as of lately it just puts them in real quick but takes them back out in a split second. Also I don't really know the version it shows up there but its 1.12.2. I have tried multiple times to place it and have tried all the ways people have said it has worked for them. Also asked people on server if they are having same issues but they are not

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.13.2, or the latest snapshot 18w49a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
1.12.2 is a Minecraft Java Edition release. I have moved your issue to the correct project.
