I logged off of mine-craft after some minor lag. I logged back on after restarting the computer and only three chunks were left of my entire world. The rest of my worlds were unaffected. Not sure how to reproduce bug.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report here. Is this just an extreme case of MC-2545?

I fixed my world by restoring a previous version from two days ago. I
guess the way to prevent the problem is just to keep backups of your
world in case it happens. By the way, on my world I don't even glimpse
the other chunks. All I see is the void.

It could be, but all of those instances seem to be a single missing
chunk. All of mine are gone except the three. I attached my crash
report, but do you want my world save as well?

You don't appear to have attached the crash report. Can you try again?

Here is the actual text of the report:

I'm sorry, I'll try that again

Hmm, crash report looks normal. Can you zip and attach your world?

Here it is.

Again, it doesn't look like you attached it. Can you try again? Thanks.

Sorry, I am using this new software. Let's see if it works on google chrome.

Sorry, let me try to link you to my google drive
My World.zip<https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzZ0i7M17bvhQkFMV0hVdm5DN1k/edit?usp=drive_web>
Sorry for the trouble. I hope this works, as this is my last idea, unless
you have one.

That worked. Thanks. Testing now...

Thank you. Sorry for the hassle.

Confirmed. This is really weird. It takes forever to load and commands don't work; they don't even return "You don't have permission to use this command." Have you ever used mods in the past?

Are there any fixes for this bug?
This happened to me too. There's a chunk missing from ny SSP world and it won't go away. Logging out and back in doesn't help. The chunk apears to be fixed for a minute or so, but then refers back to it being empty. I don't know how this happened, or how to fix it.
