Failed to login: Invalid session

Hi,

I have the default client and server, however I am unable to connect to my local server (or any online server). I get the "Failed to login: Invalid session (try restarting your game and the launcher)" issue when clicking on Multiplayer and trying to join a server.

This issue started happening on the 22nd or 23rd of May 2018. I was able to use it perfectly as is for a few days before.

I've tried the below:

• Restarting game

• Restarting launcher

• Restarting router

• Forcing a change of public IP Address

• Uninstalling and fresh installing (about 4-5 times now, and I always download the latest client from official minecraft site for each install)

• Switching off firewall

• Changing minecraft password

I've noticed that there is also an issue when clicking on Realms. I've also noticed that when I restart the launcher, it always fails to remember my credentials
