[MC-131830] Dispensers bone meal on grass does not work

The bug

I tried to use a dispenser with bone meal on grass. I saw the green particles, but no grass or flowers appeared.

This bug has been driving me crazy for the last few days...now the dispenser breaks every time I activate it.

Andy, I'm not sure what you mean by the dispenser breaks. Whenever activated, the dispenser fails for me, no bone meal is used up, and no grass is placed. I do consider this broken behavior though. 😛

It works if the grass block is right in front of the dispenser, and not 1 block below.

It's a good work around but it still occasionally crashes even with this method.
