Resource pack changes makes too many delays

A changement of texture pack reload all textures. For example, if a texture pack with only 1 texture is added, all textures are reloaded causing lags (except computers with SSD c🙂.

I think the new texture should be detected and replaced without reloading the other textures.

th, all the terrain and item textures are stitched into a texture atlas on launch, so changing a single texture still requires the game to reload and restitch all of them. "Detecting and replacing one texture" doesn't really work in this case.
