[MC-133434] F3 menu substantially drops FPS

When the F3 menu is showing, I get a substantial drop in FPS. I cannot provide actual numbers due to not being able to see the framerate without the F3 menu.

If the issue has been resolved in the past- the bug could've been unintentionally brought back in the game? Considering that bug was posted 4 years ago- the game has changed a lot in that time. I don't think this is a duplicate. I think it is a bug that was reintroduced into the game.
