When you run on fire blocks, which you can't really do unless you are running and jumping, you will hear the wool sound. The same sound you hear when running on wool. I searched this up and found a result, but that was for 1.10.2 and it said it was resolved. It is no longer resolved.

Note that "Resolved" simply means an action has been taken on the report, not the bug itself; most likely it was resolved as a duplicate of the issue I just now linked (which is still open).
Also, note that this is a more general bug that also affects torches and such.
