Game and server crash upon entering the end dimension!!

upon entering the end on both my smp server and a single player creative world the game begins to load the end then crashes both the erver and minecraft as a whole. this is a game breaking bug as i cannot relog into the world.

As a temporary fix many server mods have been rolling back to pre8 backups.
