I am unable to break a conduit I had placed in my ocean next to my base. After disabling and destroying the frame, the conduit itself displays no breaking texture and remains stuck in place, responding to none of my tools or my bare hands. It is still a physical object so it isn't a visual bug either.

After I had submitted this I persisted and I feel a bit foolish now. Been under a lot of stress and MC is my escape, wasn't thinking super clearly I guess. Thank you!

Confirmed for 1.13.2.
Breaking the block takes longer than 8 seconds. It had been activated before, but now activation frame fully removed. No breaking animation, no sign it will ever break. Surely it will at some point, but I can't test it (right now)
Also having this issue. Conduit is underwater. Frame has been removed. Trying to mine using Diamond pickaxe with Efficiency V, Unbreaking III, Silk Touch and Mending. No breaking animation and item does not break. Minecraft 1.13.2 multiplayer.
How do I stop getting emails about this, I have not experienced this issue since I posted here and I have been getting emails for an entire year about this post. I cannot find a unsubscribe button or some other way to stop getting notifications.
Hi Alexander. Sorry - must be very frustrating. You're getting the messages because you originally reported the issue. Best I can suggest is this:
Log in to the site
In the top right corner, click your avatar and choose Profile
Click the Edit button (pencil icon) next to Preferences
Change Autowatch from "Inherit Global Settings" to "Disabled"
Click Update
This will stop you from automatically getting updates from this issue, any others you've created, and any you've commented on. You'd need specifically to choose to watch any issues you did want to get email updates for.
This bug is not fixed. I hastily put down a conduit in an ocean monument without a proper block underneath it. By this point I've been hit with mining fatigue All I can do is create an air pocket with a fence gate and try to break the conduit. I've made it as long as 11 minutes trying to mine the block before my finger got tired and I had to stop. The block does eventually have a breaking overlay image (as if it's about to break), but never does. I don't understand why this was marked as resolved despite someone commenting that the issue is confirmed.
It does take a while but it does eventually break. Keep in mind blocks take longer to mine underwater.
