Minecraft 1.13 freezes on title

Whenever I start up Minecraft 1.13, the game freezes on the title screen, trapping me in a purgatory of (Not Responding). This happens very, very often when I start this version of the game.

I understand this version just came out, but I'm certain I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. This bug must be fixed ASAP.
