Ever since I've updated to version 1.13, I've been unable to launch the game all but one time. Each time I launch it, the game stops responding once I reach the menu. I've tried going back to older versions to see if it was not an issue that had come up on my computer's end, but this only occurs with 1.13.
So this pretty much makes me unable to play 1.13 at all. I'd never run into any kind of problem like this, any clue as to how to fix this? Thanks.

Just tried it- it worked! I would have never come to the conclusion that Discord was behind it, thank you so much.

It's usually Discord's game overlay that prevents games from working properly. Only disabling the game overlay should work as well.
Are you using Discord? If yes close it and check if the issue persists.
