1.13 NOT Loading

What i expected to happen was...... 

For it to load up minecraft version 1.13 with no problems at all.

What actually happened was......

After i updated minecraft i launched the launcher and then clicked play 1.13 release, Then it loads to the minecraft loading screen but then it says "Minecraft is not responding, Next when i go to exit it, it says "Java(TM) platform SE binary is not responding", Then when i go to exit that it goes back to the launcher and says "GAME CRASH, an unexpected issue has occurred and the game has crashed. We are sorry for the inconvenience.". 

I think this is a bug but i am not 100% sure so that is why i am contacting you guys. I hope you all will be able to help me fix this issue so i can start playing minecraft 1.13!
