I have had recurring problems with chunk problems playing minecraft. I will be doing something such as mining or exploring when rather a chunk fails to load, or when i log off and back on I get trapped in a chunk replacing my current chunk. My most recent one was i was exploring a nether fortress and i fall into a chunk error. I reload to try and fix the problem, but the chunk error remains, and I end up stuck. Even in creative I couldn't move so i use the /kill command to free me. When i get back to my spot the error is still there, and it is even raining. no matter how many times i reload the chunk it remains empty and raining, all while the F3 screen says "waiting for chunk..." for up to 10 min and counting with no improvement. I hope this can get fixed, because i usually delete the world in case it gets corrupted and I don't want to keep making new survival worlds... Thank you for reading this and hopefully fixing the problem.

Duplicate of MC-63020. Also, this shouldn't corrupt your world, but if you are afraid it will, you can always make a backup of your world.
