Minecraft skins

My minecraft continues to crash and so i decided to download the old launcher, which my minecraft stopped crashing!! To which the sacrifice of everyone (including myself) have no skin and its just alex and steves. I can't see anyone's skins and its very frustrating. I've done everything including updating drivers, updating my video driver, updating java, using latest minecraft, deleting minecraft/repairing it. i've even deleted my own minecraft folder and had my friend give me his .minecraft folder so i had the skin folder which i thought was the original issue, which nothing.... i am completely stumped and it is so frusterating!! i have a crash log for when i try to log onto minecraft through the new launcher and photo of me on a minecraft server that shows the skins not showing up
