You can continue to hold up a riptide trident when you're not touching water

The bug

If you go into water and hold up a riptide trident, you can move out of the water and keep holding it that way instead of the player having to go back into the water and hold it back again. This can cause the trident to "fail" when you throw it under certain conditions.
