Command outputs do not contain spaces between the separators, causing them to be difficult to read

The bug

The command output for the /help command does not contain spaces between the provided arguments and the separator (which is the "pipe" character |), causing it to be very difficult to read and an accessibility issue.

A possible solution would be to change all the pipes that are used as separators to broken bars (so they look like before), but the ideal fixes would be adding spaces between the pipes, and/or color-coding the list of commands.

Note

Previously, the old font texture for "pipe" used to be 2 lines on top of each other (¦) and with the font texture change, this was fixed to a solid vertical line (|). The new look of the pipe symbol is correct, as it's a pipe (| U+007C) and not a broken bar (¦ U+00A6), but this caused any use of the pipe as a separator (e.g. in /help) to now be even more difficult to read as they are nearly indistinguishable from a lowercase L.

The title of this ticket is not very clear, it should be added that the changes in the pipe make it difficult to read and not only that its texture was changed.

Also, I think adding a space between the pipe and the argument already makes it readable, no need to change the texture. Although I do agree that some color variations would help.

The new look of the pipe symbol is correct, as it's a pipe and not a broken bar (¦ U+00A6). Adding spaces or color-coding the command suggestions would be the ideal fixes

I would like to request ownership of this ticket as the current reporter has been inactive since 2019. I will keep this report updated and with the necessary information.

The pipe symbol (|) should be a solid vertical line. However, there is a broken bar symbol (¦) that looks very similar, and some fonts confuse the two. Some older keyboard even have a broken bar where most have a pipe.
It should be noted that the broken bar uses the old "pipe" texture, making the font accurate to the codepoints it is intended to represent, meaning that in my opinion this issue should be marked as invalid, as to me this seems like a feature request, though this may be considered an accessibility issue.

My brand new keyboard has a "broken bar" rather than a "pipe". In fact, I don't know that I've ever seen a "pipe" character – I've always seen a "broken bar", in every program, font, or operating system I've ever used.

I have slightly rearranged the ticket to focus on the accessibility issue at hand (the fact that the output is hard to read) rather than the pipe texture itself.

Thank you for your report!
