The "Lore" tag for commands is not working

The Lore tag for the /give command isn't working properly. Here's the command that I used; /give @p minecraft:cookie{display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Chocolate Chip Cookie\",\"italic\":\"false\"}",Lore:["Just like mother used to make!"]}} 1; I really love this tag, so tell me if you changed it, removed it, or if it's just a bug, thanks! 🙂
