Default sign text color not easily visible for certain signs

Light gray is actually better visible from large distances, with the exception for birch signs.

(view the image in full resolution, the light gray text is still quite readable, while the black text isnt)

I think for the color of the darker wood variants of signs, the default text color should be grey or white while the text color for lighter wood variants of signs should be black.

Since you can change the color of the text now, I'm not sure if this could be considered a bug, just right click with the dye of your choice to change the color of the text on any signs, you can do this multiple times if you want.

I know, but it just seems like a pain to have to waste a dye just to make a dark oak sign readable

Text colors have changed, and now even white text is darker and less visible than the light grey you show here.

The colours as they are right now are intentional, and you may choose the colour you think is most readable for any given situation.
