when using a single rope/leash when you right click on the animal you desire to tie down it disappears and you cannot tie it down to a post.

i went to right click on the post after right-clicking on my horse and the rope/leash disappeared and i could not tie my horse down to the post.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. first in survival get one rope/leash
2. then place a post down
3. then right-click on the animal you wish to tie down.
4. then when you go to right-click on the post, it should disappear and you can't tie the animal down.

nope not working i re-installed it and made a new world but still wont let me tie the horse to the post with just one leash.

I have this issue as well - I imagine it's because Minecraft is looking for an interaction with a fence post while you have a leash in your hand. Even though you don't need a second leash to wrap to the fence, it doesn't know that you want to tie up your animal otherwise.
Just what Josh said, it's minecraft looking to see that you are holding a leash, which you aren't, so just have a 2nd one and you'll be fine, hope they fix this.
I tried this and it worked fine. Try Force Updating or reinstalling the snapshot?
