In my 1.13.2 survival world, I had a cat that had glitched all the way back in 1.5 and since then has had the ocelot skin (aka CatType:0) while remaining tamed.
What I expected to happen:
Upon upgrading to a 1.14 snapshot, my tamed cat with CatType:0 would keep being tamed.
What actually happened:
Upon upgrading to a 1.14 snapshot, my tamed cat with CatType:0 became a wild ocelot.
Mojang, when you fix this, please do not have them change to another cat skin instead. My ocelot-skinned cat means a lot to me, and I'd like to be able to keep it when changing to 1.14

Well all my other tamed ocelots became tamed cats when switching from 1.13.2 to the 1.14 snapshots. That tamed cats with CatType:0 suddenly become wild ocelots upon upgrading is an issue that needs fixing, especially when that behavior does not apply to other tamed cats.
That's because prior to 1.14, an ocelot with CatType:0 is meant specifically for the ocelot skin, while the rest are reserved for cat skins and are properly upgraded because they are cats. The only viable fix here is to upgrade CatType:0 tamed ocelots to a random cat skin. I don't see them adding the ocelot skin as a cat, as the whole purpose was to separate the mobs.
Still, having it available as a possibility through commands, or in this case a glitch, would be preferable.
I wonder if the glitch that turned my cat into CatType:0 is still around. I'm not sure, as I don't know how it happened.
Can anyone confirm if this happens to them as well?
