Entities Vanishing

A band of pillagers came to my base that was not by a village and killed me. I re-spawned and the pillagers were gone but there were still attacking me. It wasn't only pillagers husks and creepers and even items went invisible.

Another thing is that i was looking at three bands of pillagers at once and there were spawning a lot. I feel like there not supposed to spawn this much.
