Named Shulker Box Made in 18w45a losing inventory in 18w46a

I did search and found resolved issues for 18w44a. Since this wasn't an issue in 18w45a I am starting an new ticket.

Made shulkers in 18w45a, couldn't dye them because of the issue with dye, so I named them.

Copied world from 18w45a to 18w46a server. Started new server, logged in. Went to my tree farm area where I had two shulker boxes. Both named and had inventories in 18w45a to find that on the 18w46a server their inventories are gone and they have lost their names.  I did not log into the server in the same chunk as the shulker boxes. I checked all my other chests/enderchest and they seem to be fine.

I went to make sure in the old server there wasn't an issue. Started up the 18w45a server that I copied the world from. I went right to the shulker boxes and didn't have any issues in reading the names or interacting with the inventory.

This isn't a duplicate of that issue. I did a search, and nothing close to what I am experienced is listed.

I can play all day in 18w45a goto the nether and End and come back to my base and not have my shulkers have an issue.

So how about you read my issue then read the issue you say it is a duplicate of and you will see they are not the same.

It's a duplicate. The exact requirements and circumstances for this issue to occur are still unknown. If you can provide us with steps to consistently reproduce this issue, that would be great!

Sure thing; for 18W46a, fresh single player world (not upgraded from previous version) -

  1. Fill shulker box with some assortment of items (doesn't matter if it's named or dyed) & place in the world

  2. Log out

  3. Log back in

  4. Shulker box inventory is deleted, and any named shulker boxes lose their names

    1. Notes: shulker boxes in player inventory or in chests retain their inventories; this only affects shulker boxes placed in the world

    2. Chests, trapped chests, ender chests are unaffected
