[MC-13986] Command block bug

Using /kill in a command block doesn't work,I tried both kill @p, @p kill, and kill xland44 in the command block, it didn't work.

Are you in SinglePlayer? If so, the /Kill command acts as in Killing yourself, unlike servers it doesn't kill other Players, but yourself, if you were on LAN with a random person, (E,I Notch) and you did /Kill Notch then it would actually kill the player who was doing it, so if you do Kill @p or @p Kill, and Kill xland44, you're basically telling the command block to Kill itself.

No, I am on a vanilla multiplayer server with only me and my friend in it.
