Using Lore NBT Tag does not work

When I do the command: /give @p trident{display:{Name:"name hereLore:["Explosive"]}}}, and check in the inventory (with F3+H on), no lore appears. What's up with that? No attachments available, nor launcher log. Meant to post this a couple days ago.
