Villagers all crowd into the same house during a raid

This seems like intended behavior. All the villagers are just hiding in the nearest house.

It's not the nearest house. I saw villagers running across from the other side of the village into this one house. Maybe they just track from northwest outwards or something?

Can you give us the seed and coordinates so we can try to reproduce this bug?

This is a general bug that affects all village behavior, even nighttime. It's existed since Villagers were given this behavior. Villagers will try to all gather together in close proximity rather than fill vacant houses. If a house is too far from the center of the village, it will never be occupied.

Is this still an issue in the latest 1.14 development snapshot?

They seem to spread out pretty evenly now, but with some clumping near the village center (I used /spreadplayers before giving myself bad omen)
