Grass grows beneath altered ground

Grass will grow beneath farmland as if the tilled soil doesn't exist. Farm has been present for several hours now and none of the tilled blocks have been placed. I have yet to see anyone else report this.

Update: After checking, the same seems to happen beneath Grass Path blocks as well... See images attached
