Wearing Blast Protection 2.1 Bn against a giant explosion causes a Phantom Overworld

Hello Mojang,

I was experimenting with commands in Minecraft and gave myself some diamond armor with Blast Protection 2,100,000,000 on each. I tried surviving 40 TNT blocks explode, and I did, but it also created a phantom overworld in which the entities of the world wouldn't move. I tried everything to get entities working, but nothing happened. I blew up more TNT. It disappeared. I summoned creepers. They had no AI. I had to reload the map to get it to work again. I used the /replaceitem commands to place it on my slots.
