Exiting a boat sometimes makes you glitch uncontrollably

When exiting a boat, if you do not press forward to move out of the boat while pressing the key to exit a boat you can get stuck in glitching in an out of the boat.

What I expected to happen was...:
I should have just exited the boat regardless of pressing forward.

What actually happened was...:
I had to physically choose a direction or the glitch occurred.

Steps to Reproduce:
I have not been able to reproduce it.  Every other time I tried the boat vibrates and then my view settles to not vibrating and I am standing on the boat.  The boat was originally at the corner of a 1 block jutting out in the water.
