[MC-142908] Using command "/locate " sometimes crashs the game

i was using "/locate" command, than sometimes it doesn´t work, and when i tryed to open a chest, it wasn´t openning, then i tryied to close the minecraft app, then it crashed

This sounds like a performance problem. I've had stuff like this happen before, on my previous laptop. Are you using an old machine?
