Downgrading an affected world to 24w19b seems to fix the crash. It even fixes the world, so it can be opened in 24w20a again. Though I'm not sure whether there are any lasting side effects of this bug or the downgrade.
I was able to finish my ominous trial this way.
I'm assuming I would need a new datapack for 1.18 versions (haven't tested the existing one).
But I'm in uni and don't have the time to learn about the new changes to worldgen and datapacks at the moment.
I guess reassign this ticket to someone else with a lot of datapack and/or worldgen knowledge?
There are at least 2 ways that I can think of.
Break the hive in Survival without Silk Touch. This will make all the bees come out and attack you. (If it is one of the naturally generated hives and not the crafted ones, you will lose the hive.)
Use F3+I while looking at the hive, and then paste into a command block or a text editor on your computer. The command will include the data for each bee that is in the hive.
This is technically fixed in pre-release 1 by removing the floating islands world type, lol
Has this world been opened in 20w17a (1.16 snapshot)? I can't remember the issue number for that bug, unfortunately.
What are your graphics settings like? If graphics are not set to "Fabulous!" there can be strange rendering with multiple layers of transparency; see MC-222100.
Can I request that a user who is currently more active than myself be given ownership of this ticket?
Can you reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment? (i.e. without Optifine)
There is a random factor in the amount of EXP given.
Specifically, if the total amount of EXP in the furnace is not a whole number when the items are taken out, then the fractional part of the amount of EXP in the furnace is the probability of adding 1 to the whole number part. (Non-ore items generally produce a fractional amount of EXP per item)
This report is invalid as the reporter was using mods.
Also, vanilla servers can not be joined while using current versions of Forge, I've tried.
Dude. This bug was known when the pre-release came out, and was literally mentioned in the patch notes.
Only pink axolotls are spawned.
Google translates the description of this report as:
I use the official website to download the java version, but I can’t use the redemption code to redeem the code to purchase
This is an account issue.
Check your /gamerule reducedDebugInfo.
@yusufulus Sure, but it's probably not the latter as saplings can be composted.
It may also be possible that the enderman has no valid position to teleport to; see https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Enderman#Teleportation
Or, another option would be to not let players place turtle eggs on cracked turtle eggs.
If the world cannot have buried treasure at all (e.g. a single biome Warm Ocean world) the buried treasure map will also be replaced with an empty map. I suspect the cause in your normal world is that the game could not find a buried treasure for the map to point to.
Also confirmed.
The cause is that the entity tag #no_anger_from_wind_charge excludes Silverfish while including all other Trial Chambers mobs.
To reproduce, spawn a bunch of Silverfish and Breezes, then an Iron Golem in the center. After a while, the Silverfish will switch from attacking the Iron Golem to fighting the Breezes.
