Structure-Terrain Generation Error

What I Expected:

Villages and Pillager Outpost would have had the same issues the villages have always had, such as paths leading up mountains and buildings being at drastically different elevations or with the thick-foundations of villages past.

What Happened:

When loading a world with the new Villages and Pillager Outposts, the terrain becomes disjointed in several areas, producing large, near perfect square spaces of elevated or floating ground. While buildings and decorative accessories themselves will generate normally, paths will begin generating on this new terrain (See village images). In Pillager Outposts, The main structure will behave normally, but new terrain will generate over decorative structures such as log piles, tents, and targets. This has occurred on several worlds and in previous snapshots.
