leads break when towing a horse with a boat at full speed

if i speed up my boat, at some point, the horse, donkey, or mule freezes and the lead stretches and breaks as shown in the picture. i've already reported this bug before, so dont mark this as duplicate of my other report. it already happened with the redstone clock freezing.
