Soul sand doesn't generate bubble columns underwater

Are you using a resource pack?

I did use the resource pack; it's just didn't generate bubble columns from the soul sand in the new resource pack. So why should I change it to the old one in order for the soul sand to generate bubble columns properly?

Cannot reproduce, are you sure your game isn't lagging?

Also, by "the resource pack" do you mean the new textures?

Bubble columns only generate in water source blocks.

First of all, @Yellow01, yes, I am definitely sure that the game should be lagging no more, and of course, I do mean new textures by resource pack. Second of all @Ian McCurdy, that's just easy to notice; nothing special.
