[MC-1438] Wold Generation Bug - Square rooms underground

Seed= -2129711738
At x:1150 y:38 and z:190 on the above seed there is a completely square room (see attached picture).
Unless this is just a very lucky/unlucky find, this should not be a completely square room.

I have already seen several rooms like this in mineshafts, but never thought it was a bug.

This might not be a bug then? I can understand if not, it's just I remember seeing rooms like this in previous versions of minecraft.
