Foxes don't get effects from the food they eat

This isn't a bug, it might be a suggestion (evolution). 

@unknown, it is a bug. They eat the food, so would only make sense if they got effects from the food they ate.

Are you talking about them genuinely consuming the food or just carrying it around in their mouth? Because the latter isn't eating.

I love the idea of foxes getting potion effects from the food they eat. Though they probably shouldn't get poison from Rotten Flesh for the same reason wolves don't.

Although this has already been fixed, I'd like to point out to Douglas Webster that you don't get poison from rotten flesh, but rather get the hunger effect.
