Campfire Smoke Particle Order

I didn't see this as a post when searching, I did see some variations but not this one. 

I just put down a camp fire and stood back to look, and the smoke particles go up in the foregrounds sand, under the water, then over top the background above the water.  Makes the whole water layer look popped outwards.
