Fences connect to doors when door face meets fence

All types of fences will connect to all types of doors when a door face is directly met with a fence as seen in the attached screenshot

Linked issues

The problem does still exist. Also with iron bars. Minecraft last release 1.14. Environment: Ubuntu 18.04.2, java ver. 10.
