I was using the gold pickaxe with these enchantments:
Efficiency V
Silk Touch
Unbreaking II
But when I mined some diamonds the blocks disappeared like in creative mode. I only tested it with diamonds unfortunately, it could effect all ores. I know stone blocks were dropped from regular stone but RIP diamonds 😞
You need you use an iron or diamond pickaxe.
