Enderman doesn't kill the endermite

Do you use the Ender Pearl or just a spawn egg? If you use the spawn egg, they usually won't attack. Only attack if spawned from the Ender Pearl you have thrown.

I had tried with the command summon and the egg then later in the vanilla had been generated with the aspenpearl and indeed not the enderman did not attack it the same
