[MC-147138] Placing objects on carpets

What I expected to happen was...:
I was expecting to place objects such as crates, beds, and other floor objects onto carpets without it looking like they floating in the air.

What actually happened was...:
Carpets have an invisible layer height of a normal block so placing objects on top of carpets look like they floating in mid air

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place any carpet down
2. and try place an object on top of the carpet

It's no bug. There's nothing to fix. If anything, it's a design limitation.

so you saying you got nothing on carpets in your own house and you have things floating around. you guys need to think about these things logically. design limitation my foot its a huge bug and needs to be rectified.
