The Iron golems spawning from villagers can put them in a 2 1/2 block high space. This causes them to be stuck and not move from that location. While running a playthrough, I have a sandstone half slab on the 3rd block high creating a 2 1/2 block walk space below. I am having numerous golems spawning in this area and the only way to release them is to break the blocks.

I caught one spawning inside of a solid block (Grass again, who would have guessed)
They also spawn inside of beds, which breaks their pathfinding and causes them to get stuck.
I imagine this is related. I'm seeing them spawning inside of glass blocks. They can be pushed into glass blocks. At some point they may choose to "jump out of these blocks. They have spawned inside 3 glass blocks. By Inside I mean they are clipping with the glass blocks and are standing on a valid platform. This mob farm I'm running is showing it happen regularly. The water is on top of a polished diorite block. The Golems are in clipping within the glass blocks that are acting as walls.
[media][media]This appears to still be happening in 1.14.1 even though the status shows it was resolved. I have a large village with half slabs used as sidewalks and iron golems are still spawning in the half slabs and remain stuck there until I dig them a way out.
@unknown, your issue is MC-148955
Seeing this as well in 1.15.2. The iron golems are showing up inside the houses in my village, and more than once.
this happens in my player made village, and often times the golem will suffocate.
